We have never stayed in a static caravan before. In fact, I didn’t even know you could hire one for just a night to experience nature. Growing up here in Northern Ireland, I always heard about people staying in caravans, but I had never seen one available to hire on Expedia.com or Trivago.
A few weeks ago, I discovered Cloughey Bay Beach Caravan on Instagram and reached out to the owner, inquiring about staying for a night. At that point, I still didn’t have a clue where Cloughey was.
Cloughey is a small village on the Ards Peninsula with a population of around 1,000 people. I was fascinated by this place. I have visited nearby villages like Strangford and Portaferry, and I’m so glad I discovered Cloughey on Instagram.
